Waka Huia
Description
Finely carved waka huia made from wood. Lid end and lip has pakura motif. Centre of lip has long slim raised spine. Male figure 224 mm long. Figure decorated with spirals and rauponga. Base completely decorated with rauponga. Distintive"Little" broad grooves and inconsistently shaped notches.
