Description
A New Zealand Registered Nurse badge. The brass badge is shaped like a five pointed star enamelled in red, blue and white with a cross at the centre.The star is attached to a blue enamelled bar with " N Z R N " marked on it. " 1275 / MARY E. / AFFLECK / 1912 / " is marked on the reverse. " H. JENKINS & / SONS / BIRM " is also marked on the reverse A brooch pin is fitted on the reverse of the bar. The badge is mounted on a piece of card along with other medals and badges on A Certificate of The Services in the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces issued to Mary Ellen Affleck.
