Description
Muka kaupapa worked in horizontal rows of whatu-aho-rua. Aho spaced at 20 mm intervals. Six whenu to every 10mm. Hatchings of natural semi-dressed (haku) flax with some squares of black and brown. Strands approx 80mm in length have been folded in half and woven into kaupapa on one whenu only. A thick fringe neck approx 80mm deep, which has been finished with thick four plait.
