Description
Muka kaupapa woven in horizontal rows of whatu-aho-rua. Four whenu to every 10 mm. Aho spaced at every 10 mm intervals. A mixture of hukahuka and karure (tight and loosely twisted treads). Neck is trimmed with kurupatu approx 200 mm long. The hem and side edges are decorated with rectangles of paheke worked in natural and dyed muka.
