Description
A cream silk organza wedding over dress with smocking at the shoulders and in a semi-circular shape at the waist. The dress is "V" necked and has slightly puffed sleeves. There is a long train at the back of the dress approximately 1.1m long. The skirt of the dress is relatively full. It has a split at the side of the waist. The petticoat is made from a stiff white silk material; it has a full skirt made from six panels. It is also "V" necked and is done up on the side (same as the overdress). The veil is made from a fine silk net. It is decorated with pink applique silk flowers and cream coloured tambour work around the sides and base. At the top is a headband which attached the veil to the head. Over the top of the veil sits a headdress which is a headband decorated with pink/cream coloured silk and similar coloured artificial pearls in circular patterns.
