Veterinary Kit

Description
A small rectangular, leather bound wooden case with a double brass hinged lid, a lock (no key) on top of the lid, and a small leather carrying handle on the front. The inside of the case is divided into a large compartment, and a small hinged lidded compartment that is divided into three.
The case contains a cardboard box holding ligiture silk ( the name Sam R. Feaver, Veterinary Practitioner appears on the label on the outside of the box) and a vial of chloride of gold 15grms. There is also two boxes containing hypodermic needles and two metal lidded boxes containing syringes. There are a further two cards containing suture silk. Some of the leather has come off the case and there are signs of borer.
Approximate date 1900-1920.
