Muka kaupapa worked in horizontal rows of whatu. Five whenu to 10mm. Ara spaced at 7mm intervals. Woollen threads and pompoms worked into foundation at time of weaving. Paheke decoration consists of multi-coloured rectangles over body of cloak, looped wool triangle at centre of neckline, looped wool border down each side edge.
