Watercolour depicting ship identified by William Skinner as the H.M.S Pelorus at anchor in the North Shore, Auckland in 1860 but bearing a strong resemblance to James D Richardson's photograph of the H. M. S. Galatea at the same location taken in 1869. The ship is located middleground with smaller ship right foreground and row boat left foreground. Cleared hills in background.
