Description
Kaupapa on waistband and underlay worked in black muka. Whatu weave. Four whenu to every 10mm. Ara spaced at approximately 20 to 25mm intervals. Thick whiri plait along top of waistband with two ties at ends. Underlay 465mm long. Very thin strands of Harakeke with speckled dots. Kinikini Pp 4 of Mead (1969)
