Description
Small pencil sketch of cottage surrounded by trees in background and cleared land in foreground. Inscription on rear reads:- "Sketched in 1872 by M.C. when Mr & Mrs Jonas lived there. The large Puriri trees were the great attraction. The remains of an old chimney was left standing after Captain Willie [William] King's house was burnt by natives."
