Black/grey ink and wash drawing of the barque "Australind" in full sail. Number of seagull flying around ship. Painting mounted on cardboard. Below painting a typescript reads:- "BOWLING ALONG" / The Barque Australind crossing the Tasman in March 1875, Drawn by W.F. Gordon who was a passenger. / On July 26th 1882 when discharging her cargo of cement at Moturoa, New Plymouth, she was driven ashore during a terrific gale and bacame a total wreck."
