Small watercolour depicting the Waiiti Armed Constabulary Redoubt - centre forground. Shows square, brown earthen walls of redoubt with roof tops just visible inside the compound. Three men stand below flag - right side of redoubt. To the right of this, three men stand along fenceline outside walls of compound. Small patch of green bush located to left of redoubt, above which (and into the distance) is the Bushranger's redoubt, Papatiki. Brown clearing with dead tree immediate foreground. Green and bluish bush clad hills in distance - background. Housed in folder of light pink (front) and beige (rear) matting board.
