A thin, straight bamboo cane with hooked handle. There used to be some kind of a ferrule at the end of the cane but it is missing.

The cane appears to be rattan not bamboo, a quite different material. Rattan is a palm and bamboo a grass. It would be useful to record the dimensions and weight of the artefact. There was a cricketer named Ernest Hunter "Charlie" Diack, perhaps the same man..
