Description
Dog figurine made from earthenware. Dog is a King Charles spaniel type and is in a seated pose. Coloured brown/orange and white. Only the front part of the dog has any colour (back is white). Has painted detail on the face - black eyebrows and nose. Dog has a gold coloured collar with a barrel or small basket painted in the centre. Because of the painted detail the dog would date to the 19th Century. c.1850.
