in
the
stomach
of
a
chamois
by
Ron
Lambert
circa
1965-66
while
hunting
in
the
Clyde
River
area
in
Canterbury.
Bezoars
are
defined
by
the
Oxford
Dictionary
as
"small
stony
concretions
which
form
in
the
stomachs
of
certain
animals,
especially
ruminants,
and
which
were
once
used
as
an
antidote
for
various
ailments."
