Description
Fine carved adze handle. Light construction handle with slight curve to it. Slightly cracked around knob. Carving consists of face just above the lashing notch. Detail of carving is as follows:- Eyes are represented by a single spiral, the nose is a slightly raised projection and the mouth has an upward protruding tongue. Teeth can be seen either side of tongue. Ceremonial handle.
