Pink machine embroidered organza bridesmaid's dress. Fully gathered skirt over both stiffened net and taffeta underskirts. Fitted bodice. Wide square neckline with a slight upward curve in front. Slightly gathered cap sleeves. 52cm lavender zip fastener at back.

Bridesmaid dress made by Mrs Sisarich for the wedding of Allison and Malcolm Liggett. Mrs Sisarich made the brides dress as well as three matching dresses for the bridesmaids.She was well known in New Plymouth for wedding dresses and had trained in Europe before moving to New Plymouth. The dress is made of Swiss embroidered organza. The material was purchased at Houghton's in New Plymouth. Allison and Malcolm were married at St. Mary's where Macomb's father, Kenneth Liggett, was the Arch Deacon at the time. Pam Darney was a friend of the brides and they have stayed close friends ever since.
