Description
A small Wedgwood dark blue and white Jasperware lidded powder box. The lid features a bas-relief scene of the goddess Aurora riding in a chariot drawn by two horses. The outside edge of the lid is decorated with a bas relief floral trim. The container is decorated with four different bas-relief group scenes, including the one on the lid.each scene separated by foliage motif. " WEDGWOOD " is impressed on the base. The container has been broken and reglued and a substantial piece of it is missing.
