Description
A small Wedgwood dark blue and white Jasperware urn. The urn is shaped like an upside down bell with a flat foot. A bas-relief leaf border decorates the top lip and the urn is decorated with two bas-relief scenes. One, featuring a seated woman under a tree with a dog at her knee, is known as 'Poor Maria '. The other features two people and an angel cleaning its face. The scenes are separated by bas-relief foliage. " WEDGWOOD " "A" is stamped on base. The base has been broken and repaired and a chip is missing from the edge.
