Description
Metal grille with ornate patterning. Circular with a 2.5 cm border. Inside is a diamond pattern with four Greek or Roman god figures around the outside. In centre of diamond shape is a circle. Metal is burnt black in colour.

in
its
time.
However,
little
is
known
about
this
particular
item,
in
particular
where
it
was
from
and
what
it
was
used
for.
Perhaps
it
decorated
a
front
door
or
gate...but
it
is
impossible
to
say
for
sure.
