Sword, British Infantry Officer's (1822)

Description
A later variant of the 1822 pattern British Infantry Officer's sword. It has a Wilkinson pattern blade and a pierced handguard which features the cypher of Queen Victoria. It has a fishskin grip bound with wire and is accompanied by a metal scabbard with two suspension rings. The blade features the Wilkinson proof button. " HENRY / WILKINSON / PALL MALL / LONDON " is marked on the blade along with " 11361" is marked on the spine of the blade.
