Description
A long white lawn baptismal gown with a "V"-shaped yoke trimmed with frill from the centre of the waist to the back-neck opening. There is a lace insertion on the sleeves and narrow lace trim around the sleeves, neckline, and hem. A drawstring is threaded through the waist and neck and a broderie anglaise panel is inserted at the centre front of garment with the pattern tapering from 25cm wide at hemline to 0.2cm at 6cm below waistline. The panel has wide frill down either side with a narrow lace edging.
