A bodice from a wedding outfit made of olive-coloured and black silk taffeta. The garment is boned and fastens down the front with fabric buttons. There is black piping around the arms and collar and a curved front with a small band collar. A black panel extends from around the back of the neck to the front bust and ends with a ribbon on the left-hand side. The cuffs have a band of kilting and a ribbon on top. The hem is cut up along the sides of the hips and tapers back down to a row of pleats at the back rear.
