Description
A home made Golliwog soft toy doll which has been made using scrap materials including socks and curtaining. It has a face made from a black fine knit sock with badly worn possum fur "hair". It has two white buttons for eyes, brown stitched eyebrows, remnants of a white stitched nose and two small fragments of a red stitched mouth. It has been darned in a number of places with stuffing visible in small areas. The arms, body and legs are made of similar black knitted wool sock materia. It wears a green, orange and black check shirt with two buttons and green edging around collar. It also wears brown fawn overalls with straps over the shoulders which are crossed at the back and tied around the waist.
