Description
An unframed botanical oil on canvas. The painting depicts a plant with a large cluster of flowers with red petals in the centre of the canvas, and then a smaller cluster of flowers with pink petals in the bottom right corner. There are stems with small green leaves intertwined with the clusters of flowers. The background is coloured using varying shades of green.
This plant species has been identified by Fanny as "Clinathis Puniceus, Kowhai-Nguru-Kaka", alternatively known as Kaka Beak Kowhai.
