Description
A high hoopback black bentwood chair.The back of the chair is oval with a circle detail at the top of the chair and a half circle where the back meets the seat. It has an open back with a cane seat (badly torn), plain rounded splayed sabre legs that are turned at the top and a hoop stretcher. Mid 19th Century. (Thonet) in a similar style of the Model no.17 Bentwood side chair.
