Sampler
Description
A sampler made with fine worsted wool thread on linen. The threads are principally red and green using a cross-stitched pattern. It features the alphabet and numbers in rows. There are a few motifs at the bottom. It bears the letters "A.M." which may be the initials of the embroiderer.
