"Waitara"

 Description
Postcard from the Charles Lilley Collection depicting a view of Waitara from the eastern side of Waitara Bridge, looking towards McLean Street. The Club Hotel and the Masonic Hotel (built in 1881) can be seen on the far side. The bridge was officially opened on 22 May 1913 and was the second built across the Waitara River, replacing the first which opened in 1872.
