"New Zealand Fungi"

Production date
1917
Description
Depiction of various species of fungi in a very wide panoramic image. The pale blue bullet-shaped fungi on white stipes (stems) on the far left is the native Clavogaster virescens, the pale pink forms below in the bottom left corner are Hydnangium kanuka, the pale blue-green rounded forms in the centre along the bottom edge are the native Rossbeevera pachydermis, and the yellow fungi with brown spots to the left of centre are Pholiota adiposa. Other fungi are rendered in browns, pale yellows and whites. Fungi along the top edge are possibly depicted on a log. The background merges from brown on the left, towards a brick-res colour near the centre, and to pale blue-green on the right.
