Description
Austrovenus stutchburyi. Single valve. Roughly circular shell. Radial ribs crossed by concentric ridges. Colour ranging from a burnt orange towards the umbo fading to a lighter orange to an off white on one side of the shell where the colour has faded. The inner side of the shell has a dark purple edge to one side with the rest white.
