Mixed media wearable art costume depicting Puke Ariki. Silver, lattice bodice with black mesh skirt. Four panels run down the skirt with different elements of Puke Ariki painted on them, including; the front steps with nikau palms alongside at the front, the original building to the left, Richmond Cottage to the right and a black and white fern at the back. The headpiece is made from polystyrene in the shape of the building roof. The white, plastic mask is painted with the New Plymouth District Council logo. The single glove laces up the wrist. It is painted in ocean colours with long, curling fingers. Seashore boulders group in the palm with a loose material that sparkles like sea foam around them.
