Land district of Taranaki 1902, showing survey proposals for years 1904-1905. Shows area considered suitable for settlement, unsurveyed Crown land, country surveyed. Native land. Portion of Rangitoto Tuhua Block proposed to be roaded. Proposed roads to be surveyed through the Rangitoto Tuhua Block. Roads proposed and supported by the New Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. Roads formed and metalled, dray roads, horse roads and roads cleared. Provisional settlement surveys are also colour coded according to the name of the surveyor. Scale : 4 miles to an inch.
