Wedding dress designed, made and worn by Joan Dukes when she married (Russell) Lowell Dukes in New Plymouth on 6 May 1936. Sleeveless, silk gown in a cream colour. Dress collar gathers as a bow at the front. Row of buttons down the back. Matching jacket with pleats at the back and three buttons at the back. Dress fully lined, jacket unlined.
