Roy Brewster built these panels as part of his Norian philosophy and his dream of founding a 'holy city' at Egmont Village. He dismantled his Norian house in 1974 and started Norian Builders Limited in anticipation of selling prefabricated hexagonal housing, modelled on his own house, to members of the new community. However, the scheme fell through as Brewster's application to the Inglewood County Council for consent to subdivide the land was declined. After his death in 1978, hexagonal pieces from his Norian dream were scattered throughout the region.
