Hexagonal wooden panel. Made up of multiple planks in two layers. Top side has been finished and oiled. Underside is rough with numerous nail heads and pencil lines visible.

as
part
of
his
Norian
philosophy
and
his
dream
of
founding
a
'holy
city'
at
Egmont
Village.
He
dismantled
his
Norian
house
in
1974
and
started
Norian
Builders
Limited
in
anticipation
of
selling
prefabricated
hexagonal
housing,
modelled
on
his
own
house,
to
members
of
the
new
community.
However,
the
scheme
fell
through
as
Brewster's
application
to
the
Inglewood
County
Council
for
consent
to
subdivide
the
land
was
declined.
After
his
death
in
1978,
hexagonal
pieces
from
his
Norian
dream
were
scattered
throughout
the
region.
