Box with Pins

Description
Small wooden box with hinged lid. Closes at the front with a brass clip. Inside there are six grooved sections for holding different sized pins. There are four main different pin sizes, slightly mixed up. The second section from the left has small pieces of foam. The sections are numbered top and bottom, possibly with the sizes of the pins.

Ken Fox was a prolific bug collector throughout the Taranaki region and beyond during the second half of the 1900s. He worked closely with other local collectors such as Peter Peckham. This box of pins, used for setting and mounting bugs for display, belonged to Ken Fox.
