Description
Unframed oil on canvas. A painted single branch of the "Hoheria lyallii" with three limbs. The leaves are dentate heart shaped and have two different shades of green, dark green to indicate the top and a lighter green to indicate the bottom side of the leaves. The leaves at the top of the branch are coloured light green to show the perspective of the artist. There are also white with tinges of grey five petal flowers located along the base of the limbs with purple visible stamen in the center of the flower.
The background consists of the scrumbling technique with undertone colours of brown, white and green. The background at bottom left hand side is purple grey. in colour
