Description
35mm colour negative showing the german mine at Mōkau, North Taranaki. The mine has been painted brick red and is positioned on a white concrete plinth. A plaque in front of the mine reads "Let this German mine found December 2nd 1942 remind us in the days of peace, Without vision the people perish. Plaque donated by Mokau Progressive Association". A palm tree and blue building are visible in the background.
