Description
Copy photograph showing the monument to the 57th (Middlesex) Regiment at the Te Henui Cemetery, New Plymouth. The monument is made of a tall obelisk on a series of square bases. There is a fence surrounding the monument with diagonal panels on each side and elaborate caps on the corner posts. Trees are visible in the background. The photograph is included on page 42 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
