Copy photograph of original full-length portrait of Captain Woodall from the 57th (Middlesex) Regiment. Woodall is standing with his right hand on the back of a wooden chair and there is a table with a lace tablecloth on it to his left. He is wearing a dark-toned suit with a fob chain and knee-high boots. He is holding a walking stick and gloves in his left hand. The photograph is included on page 41 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
