Copy photograph of original portrait of Lieutenant Colonel Robert Abraham Logan of the 57th (Middlesex) Regiment. Logan is seated in a wooden chair in a studio setting with a column behind him. His legs are crossed and he is holding an unidentified object. Logan is wearing a dark-tone coat over light-toned trousers. To his right there is a table with a floral tablecloth over it and a bowler hat sitting on top. Logan has a moustache and a full beard. The photograph is included on page 40 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
