Silver gelatin photograph of Elsie Anderson (nee Gordon) on the left and Betty Norine Voght (later Betty Kay), the first postwomen in Stratford. They are both wearing mid-toned uniform dresses with dark ties, and are also wearing caps. Both women also have whistles attached to strings hanging around their necks. They are holding their bicycles which both have canvas bags attached to the handlebars. Some mail is visible in the bags.
