Hi, I have an image from a newspaper of Hickman Rose Russell, who was Chief Constable of Ipswich Borough Police 1879 to 1907. He is definitely the person who served in the British Military in New Zealand, and was mentioned in dispatches several times and was promoted Brevet Major for these actions. I have compared the image that I have with your one, and their is a good likeness. Would it be possible to have permission to use your image? I am a retired Police Officer and have been interested in the biographies of former Chief Officers of police forces in the UK for over 40 years.
