Description
A Victory medal. The obverse features a standing Victory figure. The figure is holding a palm branch in her left facing hand and extending her right facing arm. " THE GREAT / WAR FOR / CIVILISATION / 1914-1919 " is marked on the reverse inside a leaf design. "23 / 252 SJT. P.R. PARR. N.Z.E.F." is inscribed on the edge of the medal. The ribbon, which is mounted with a mentioned in dispatches clasp, is a double rainbow colour with an orange central stripe.
