Egg, Blackbird
Description
Turdus merula, Blackbird egg. It is small, oval with the top end narrower and pointed than the bottom end. The bottom half is light brown and speckled, the top part is a light blue grey colour with a few speckles. At the bottom and top end is a small hole where the embryo was excavated.
