A glass jar containing a sample of oil from Moturoa Number 2 bore. The oil is held in a clear glass jar, which is a rounded rectangle in shape. The jar is closed by a metal lid. On the front of the jar is a faded adhesive paper label with the words ' MOTUROA No 2 / PETROLEUM / PURE 1907 '.
