 Description
An India General Service Medal. The silver medal features a young head profile of Queen Victoria on the obverse. " VICTORIA REGINA " is embossed around the profile. The reverse features a Victory figure crowning a scantily clad warrior. " H. COX, 2nd BOMBAY EUR. L.I. " is marked on the edge. The medal is attached to the crimson and dark blue striped ribbon by a decorative scrolled suspension bar. A " PERSIA " clasp is mounted on the ribbon. The ribbon is mounted on cardboard together with an Indian Mutiny Medal.
