Description
Glass plate negative showing the men of the Boardman family of Oaonui. Standing in the back row from left is John, Frederick Junior and Francis (Frank) Boardman. Seated in the front row on the left is Frederick Boardman Senior and standing in the front row on the right is Leslie Boardman. John, Frank and Frederick Senior are all wearing dark-tone suit jackets and pants with ties whereas Frederick Junior is wearing military uniform. Leslie is wearing a dark-tone jacket with short pants and no shoes. The group is gathered on the grass in front of the porch of a house. There is a window partially visible on the right with a lace curtain hanging in it.
