Powelliphanta sp. It is a large snail shell. The shell is a motley green brown colour with large spots of rust. The shell is slightly damaged with the exterior layer flaking. A number on the inside of the shell is C23.17

They eat earthworms which they slurp up like spaghetti. They also eat slugs and some insects. They are endangered species endemic to New Zealand. Habitat loss and predation hugely affect the populations. Little known about the lives of these snails.
