Powelliphanta sp. It is a large snail shell. The shell is a light brown colour with darker brown bands. The the top side it has the number G23.6 in pen.

They eat earthworms which they slurp up like spaghetti. They also eat slugs and some insects. They are endangered species endemic to New Zealand. Habitat loss and predation hugely affect the populations. Little known about the lives of these snails.
